Mirror LockUp with EOS 300D / Rebel
« on: February 13, 2005, 12:03:29 pm »

It goes down immediately after firing the shutter.
Mirror lock up was the main reason I installed the `alternative` software and wouldn`t be without it now,

Wanna do 2 shots with different speed ( 1/10 and 1/200 ), very quickly, to blend them with PS.
It would be interresting when shooting waterfalls in case of wind !

With the "alternative" firmware for EOS 300D, does the mirror stay up, for several shots, or does it go down immediately after depressing shutter ?!

Have a nice Day !

If it didn't go back down, you couldn't frame your next shot

Here's how it works:
You turn it on and set the delay length.

Trip the shutter and the mirror locks up and after the predetermined duration, the shutter trips.

Then you repeat the process. The minimum duration between MLU and shutter release is 3 seconds. This functionality remains active untill you turn it off in the custom functions menu.
