Wayne, list on a 4880 is $1995. The ColorBurst version is $2495 MSRP.

I should know better than to trust amazon.  The listed 4880 shows a 2495 msrp and it doesn't mention the rip.

Just checked the specs on the 4900 and it has bloated over the 4880 now weighs in at 115 lbs that's a gain of 26 lbs.

I guess it has to compete on all the specs of the Canon iPF5100 :-)

Right now Vistek in Toronto has the 7900 for sale at 3899 can along with a rebate of $1000 was going to wait a while and get a 4900 but now I'll rethink this as its only $400 more for a 24" printer what do you think Ernst.
