Guide... and Accomodations

If you're not there yet, you can try the excelllent guide/driver that I used, Was (pronounced Woss) Jaimon, whose local telephone number is 086-9141296 (add 011 if calling from outside of Thailand).  If you can't reach him at that number, you can contact him through the Ban Sabai (Village) email Village@ban-sabai.com) Resort & Spa in Chiang Mai, whose telephone number is 053-854-778-9 (same goes with the 011 prefix, if in or out of the country).  And, by the way, if you don't mind being off the beaten path, the Ban Sabai is a nice, clean, quiet place to stay and relax and they have an excellent kitchen too.  Was is resourceful and can get you to any location you want to go, as well as having his own great suggestions, including the Mae Sa Watefall, a small affair, but also beautiful (maybe too many people there on a weekend?  Ask.).  A private hire, reasonable price, he can also accomodate a handful of people, dependent on your needs.  Anyway, good luck if you haven't gotten on the plane yet.  I hope this information is useful to you.  Sawatdee khap.
