Export catalog lightroom 3.2 trouble !

Hi!

I´m trying to "Export as catalog" from my MacbookPro to my MacPro desktop
But i get this message:   "Lightroom could not import this catalog because of an unknown error. "

This happens when trying from an external Hd AND also when i try using
"Target mode"  connecting the two machines with firewire 800 …
I´m using  Lightroom 3.2  and  Osx 10.6.4 - is this a bug in lightroom 3.2?

Maby there is another method?! Really need help with this..thanks people!

Does the issue arise during export or during import as catalog? You said that you tried to export as catalog but the error message says that import failed.

If the export was OK then you could try to open the exported catalog (without importing in an existing one). Another possibility would be a problem with Mac OS X permissions. Did you try to verify/optimize your catalog prior exporting?

FWIW, I used "exported as catalog" many times and then imported without any problem (Mac OS X 10.6.4, LR 3.2).
