RF Rokkor-X 250mm
« on: August 29, 2010, 02:01:39 pm »

Back in the day when film was king, I often used this small mirror lens which was not much bigger than my 50mm standard lens. Granted it's not auto focus and has a fixed aperture but has anyone tried it on one of the Sony Alpha bodies. The new A55 sound intriguing and if all of my old Minolta lens could have a second life, it would be great. ???

I use Minolta MF lenses on my m43 cameras.  They work fine.  I like my 135mm f2.8 vivitar best.  But that might be because it was all  $10.

I have not used that lens, however.

it's seems to be very difficult to re-mount SR-mount lens to A-mount body (but some of them have this possibility)

i think is better to use it on E-mount bodies e.g. NEX

for AF Sony and Minolta have very good autofocus 500mm RF lens

(my shots from a700, handheld during skiing)
