I'll stop whining now.

Finally retouching on a decent machine and I am so pleased with the new tower.  I don't know if it was worth the wait, considering how little they've actually changed, but it is Wicked fast.

: )

Big Props to Capture Integration for putting this on a Delta cargo jet so I could pick it up from O'Hare after flying in from our most recent shoot.  Those guys totally rock!

Menu Meters shows Capture 1 Pro using 24 threads during a big batch process.  At least that if not Photoshop can take advantage of the 12 cores.

Needless to say, I'm a happy camper and will be sticking around the Mac OS for at least another 3-5 years.

I had no idea Photoshop could feel so responsive on huge files.

LoL... that was a tough call... but $1200 for a 10% speed boost?  I had to be a little frugal somewhere.

I like your first screenshot. MenuMeters is a very handy utility and it's just as well you have a wide monitor!
