The interval timer was set to shoot 30 seconds at f/2.8 @ISO 200 every 45 seconds.
I had originally intended to shoot at ISO 1600 and to let it go for a lot longer, but when I realized I had left Auto-ISO "on" and it was shooting at 200 rather than 1600, I stopped the shoot after only 18 frames. Top make a very long story short, I didn't setup again for another shot ... may do some more next weekend. I processed the images with a decent exposure boost (+3 EV) to make up for the accidental lack of sensitivity.
Personally, I like the look of the dashes ... I was intentionally going for that look. Also, I cropped a bunch to make the streak more prominent.
I'm also pretty sure that the streak is a meteor ... having gotten fooled last year by a couple planes, I'm pretty sure this one is a Perseid. In the individual exposures there is a small flury of streaks with one much more prominent than the others ... that is the one you can see clearly in the composite.
