I'm running Mac 10.6.4, Epson printer driver 6.57 (French site), Epson LFP Remote Panel v 3.61 with its included Printer Watcher v 3.32. I have no trouble printing to the 3800, and when I check ink levels via the Epson Utility, the latter successfully communicates with the printer and provides them. However, when I wish to use the LFP Remote Panel in order to summon the Printer Watcher and attempt to run the latter, the Printer Watcher program informs me that it is unable to communicate with the printer. Eliminated all programs, removed printer via System Preferences, reinstalled driver and LFP Remote Panel program (including an additional attempt to have the PowerPC installers open in Rosetta), reinstalled printer - all to no avail. Printer Watcher worked before (probably up to 10.6.3 ?). Any suggestions would be welcome.
