Lens Correction Specifies Wrong Camera

How is it that Lightroom 3 sees the data form my Canon 5D MKII as a 1Ds MKII?

It is clearly reading the lens properly, but I'm not certain how far off the corrections are with the camera data being misread.

The actual camera isn't relative...just the sensor crop size. As far as the lens profile is concerned, the 5D II and 1Ds MII are the same size sensor. The camera name in the profile is simply informational related to what camera the lens was tested on but will have no impact on it's use.

Another related question. I am new to Lightroom, so maybe this is dumb......but my lens corrections from a LR3 profile disappear when I go to open the image PSCS4. It is the only LR correction I make that does this. What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately the version of camera raw which supports lens corrections (I forget which) only works in CS5 so corrections are lost with CS4. It's a shame the updated camera raw can't be used in CS4 but you can get round it by rendering a tiff from lightroom and then opening in CS4.
