plugins for PS CS4
« on: August 06, 2010, 09:44:15 am »

I want to use an aftermarket sharpener & noise reduction and haven't yet figured out how use one in PS CS4.
Is there a panel I'm missing?
I am just a wee bit lost here.
Any simple tips?
OK thanks

Depending on which one you buy, one installed they will either appear under filters, or under file/automate.  Not all plugins are 64 bit compatible yet, and will only appear in 32 bit versions.

Most have trial downloads - give them a whirl.

I recommend Photokit sharpener for sharpening.

Thank you.
The proverbial putting the cart before the horse?
I am slowly becoming more adept at using PS.
Using the plugins in ptassembler made  me want to play with neatimage in ps.
Now the pksharpener.
And noise reduction is slowly making its way onto my radar.
Foggy backgrounds & bright foregrounds are a fun way to see noise and its effects.
I have been illuminated regarding rendering.
A pass of neatimage makes such an impact.
I havent tried to import it into PS yet.
Maybe today if I finish a few pieces before lunch
I see I need the home+ or pro+ edition to receive the PS compatible plugin
Oh simple
