-Leave out the dash between your name and Photography, the color seperates sufficiently
-leave out your name after "Halifax based photographer"
-I have no idea what HPO means, I guess 99% others neither. Rename.
-Reduce your picture to only the best. Too much repetition of similar pictures.
-love the overall design, simple and clean
-write about from first perspective, more personal.
Best. Ivo
Thanks, took the advice on the tag line and also fixed the HPO thing. It was explained on the page for the shoots but I'm discovering that people don't tend to navigate to the parent pages when the child pages are in the menu already (nothing wrong with that) which means most people miss that explanation. Haven't had a chance to play with the logo, will have to see how that looks.
For those galleries, I agree that there is quite a bit of repetition, where these are group shoots I like to show a little more material so that the others involved with the shoot see some more material but I am thinking that editing further would make sense. For the Newfoundland gallery, I think I've done a better job of editing but when I did the initial edit I was pushing to get something up and when I'd gotten it down to close to my goal (I wanted no more than 20 and was at 25) I just put them all up. Now that I have a little more perspective I can look through the gallery and see a few shots that could be cut so I think I'll trim it further.
The writing comment is definitely something I have to work on, I feel that I'm very much still working on finding my voice in terms of talking about my photography and I realize this is something I need to improve on and to make things more personal.
Thanks for the excellent pieces of advice.
