Hi,
I recently installed LR3 and need to import my LR2 catalog. In the Luminous Landscape Lightroom 3 video tutorial Jeff Schewe recommends first exporting your LR2 photos as a catalog. In his example he just exports a small number of pictures that happen to be in the folder he is viewing and he is importing them into an existing LR3 catalog. I am exporting my entire photo collection and haven't created my LR3 catalog yet. So I am not sure of the steps involved. Do I first create an empty LR3 catalog with no photos and then import my photos into it or can I create the catalog and import my photos simultaneously. Also, will all my collections, presets, etc. be exported along with my photos so that they will be imported into LR3 when I select the LR2 exported catalog?
