Yes, I know the sensational headline was theirs, not yours.

Smashing Magazine is for web and graphics designers so I'm guessing that "40 amazing online photography magazines" means that the website designs are amazing not that the photography and content is amazing.  Good list regardless though.

I'm slowly working my way through the list. It's a mixed bag, but there are some good sites there.

What is disappointing is how few of them have got good navigation and minimal clicking.

There should be a first law of photography web site design:

"Though must have minimal clicking to view the images."

Lawyers getting involved with photographers, ha!. We all know that they haven't got two nickels to rub together. When is the the last time that you saw one driving a BMW.

Smashing Magazine always puts out lists of sites, but in general only the first 3-4 are any good, and it quickly goes downhill from there.
