In this personal, intensive workshop you'll photograph the dramatic canyons, impossibly perched arches and towering sandstone spires of Arches and Canyonlands, guided by Bret Edge and Adobe Certified Expert, Nat Coalson. The monsoon season visits Moab in July and August, which virtually guarantees dynamic conditions for photography. Blue sky filled with puffy white clouds is the late afternoon norm. Short but intense thunderstorms fill sandstone potholes with rainwater that catch ephemeral reflections of the surrounding cliffs.

We'll shoot this dynamic landscape in the sweet light of sunrise and sunset, and during the day we'll work in a comfortable meeting room helping you master the digital darkroom with Lightroom and Photoshop. Nat will focus on post-processing techniques useful to nature photographers such as setting the correct white balance, optimal sharpening, blending exposures for increased dynamic range and depth of field, and more. Critique sessions throughout the workshop help refine your compositional skills.

Join Bret and Nat in Moab for this exciting workshop opportunity. The workshop is open to photographers of all levels and is limited to 12 participants. We look forward to seeing you in Moab!

Registration is currently open on the Moab Photo Workshops website.
