2 hour CMS Webinar Saturday

First time I’m doing this with RetouchPro, short notice, but figured I’d at least let you know about it. 2 hour live Webinar Saturday, 6/26/10. With 2 hours, mostly spontaneous Q&A, the more the merrier.

10 bucks?! That's what CM training has come to? Reminds me of the adage "we'll sell it for 20% under our cost but make it up in volume"! Hope you get enough folks to make it worth your while.

X-Rite are doing that with their webinars recently.

Hopefully Andrew will make one with them.

They asked me, I said yes but never did.... typical me.

Like posting CMS and other info at many other forums, the motivation isn’t a profit (for me). You’ll have to take up profit margins with Retouch Pro, but that’s not my interest or concern.

I've "attended" a couple of ReTouch Pro's webinar's and they're pretty good if you can't attend a "real" seminar. If you have questions, you just type them out and they will be brought up and hopefully answered  .
I hope that I'm able to "attend" tomorrow. I'll have to keep that block of time open.
Andrew, will you be touching on CM for the on demand printing(like Blurb for example) and the problems/work arounds involved with that?

I certainly can if asked. I’ve been doing a lot of work profiling such printers (Indigo, Nexpress, Xeikon) for these kinds of books. The workflow however is all over the map. Many simply ask you to send sRGB and hope for the best.

There are lots of very talented folks on the RTP forum and the previous Webinars have been by well known retouch artists.

They do make the videos available if you miss the original webcast.

At $10 a head they're just covering their costs.

FWIW, those that made it to the last webinar and liked it, Doug asked I do one specifically on dealing with CMYK issues this coming Saturday (July 31st). What makes this all work is people coming and asking lots of questions.
