I have has fine horiz lines as well as more diffuse horiz banding. Tried innumerable head cleanings and the result is only a transitory improvement, then a few prints later...lines.
Called my service rep., an epson rep qualified to work on epson 9880. He said I had to replace my capping station. I printed out the maintenance parts retings, all parts had 4 or 5 out of 5.
Sometimes there is a more noticeable single band 1 inch from the beginning of the print--a band of lighter image, less ink laid down?
Is there any other possible solutions.?
Some days it works fine for hours, then lines and bands
Very Frustrated
Machine is 2.3 years old and only uses epson ink and paper- Premium luster
