What's HP Z3100 PS GP worth ?
« on: June 09, 2010, 11:33:58 pm »

I have an HP Z3100 PS GP with maybe 50 feet of 24 inch paper run thru it and the origanal carts in it with a full set of 12 new inks carts all about 3 years old.I have the HP advanced profilling Solution and the HP spectro for the monitor profile also. What's the Price I should ask for it? I live in Northern  CA. And you would have to pay cash  for it, look it it and pick it up yourself. Thank You.

It will be hard to get what it's worth in today's economy.
Even where there is money, like where you live, the conditions are such that it will take a concerted effort to find the market for a decent price for your machine.
There have been non-PS machines, but certainly with more use, up for sale before for 1/4 of what they cost new.
You have a very desirable unit considering its age and so on.
Just remember the 7900 is going for a considerable discount if you look
I'd buy your machine but these are the toughest times economically I've ever personally experienced
Write to me if you're at all inclined to barter, trade etc.
I'm not too one dimensional and have a lot to offer in the right context

With APS included and the iSis like spectro aboard, buyers should value the machine more for its profiling capacity than for the printer itself. In the sense that it also could profile the non-HP printers in the shop. For a price that is below the other automated profile target readers.
