Several Color Think 2 questions
« on: June 01, 2010, 05:18:36 pm »

Just loaded Color Think 2 and I need a little help finding the rest of my icc profiles. Did my own search as well as through the profile manager and most of my Epson 3800,7900 and 9900 profiles do not show up. If I go into Lightrooms print module and go under color management where I make the profile selections I have all of them.
So where are they hiding?

Can  you see all of your profiles thru colorsync? Do you have them in your user/library/colorsync/profiles folder or on your main drive library/colorsync/profiles. They are in "show package contents" for your 3800, probably also for your 7900 and 9900 but I don't have those to check. The path for show package contents is library/printers/epson/inkjet printer/icc profiles/than control click on the package for your printer and pick show package contents/inside that contents folder is another marked contents/Resources and they are in there. Hope that helps.

Several Color Think 2 questions

I think I found them but I cannot access them. They seem to be under library/ printers/Epson/inkjet printers/icc profiles.
One says 3800 profiles the other 7900/9900 but I cannot open them. (Like a white domino with an orange P)
The normal looking profiles are under color sync but only about 10. I must have 40 profiles and all are available through Lightroom print module and Photoshop-proofing.
All the profiles are available through both of the above programs but the Color Think profile manager cannot seem to find them.

Quick update.
I went into Colorsync Utility and all of the 50 or more profiles are listed. I follow the trail back to where they are supposed to be located and still only find the origional 10.
Anyone help on this one?

That little white domino is where you hold down the control key and click on "show package contents". There you will  see the actual profiles. You could move them manually to your library/colorsync/profiles but, that really hasn't been a need for quite awhile with the OS. Are you just not seeing them Color Think2. Do you go to show all profiles in Color Think.
