Spectacular set of photos, and definitely not the cliched images. On my one trip to Death Valley a couple of years ago we had beautiful weather every day, with just enough friendly clouds to keep the skies from being boring. But your shots convey much better the violence of the area. Nice work!

These are very nice, a little scary even.  How bad were the winds.  I like the feeling of threatening power.  JP

The numbers reported for wind strength were between 40-60 mph.  It was so gusty that it rendered tripod use impossible (as least to me).  But what a magical time to be outdoors!

I love you image titled Storm clouds loom over Manly Beacon at Zabriskie Point. Really lovely setting and your tones capture it perfectly
