Leaf Aptus 75s or Phase one P30+ for rollei 6008 and Mamiya 645afd

Dear all,

I am considering buying a digital back. I am considering Leaf Aptus 75s and P30+ for Mamiya 645 AFD. Can anyone compare the quaility and performance of these backs? In fact, I also have my rollei 6008 AF. It is difficult to part with Rollei, but I can't find a digital back for it with a good price compared with a back for Mamiya. Is there anyway to find adapter for Leaf or Phase One to use with Rollei 6008 af?

If you want to use your 6008 then the best option is a Sinar back such as the eMotion54LV or eMotion75LV. (I used the 54) These backs use adapter plates, so you can use the same back on various camera platforms including the M645.

You also might take a look at the Hasselblad CF-39 backs. I used a 39CF on my 6008 and it gave me a real fantastic quality. Also the multishot part works perfect thanks to the electro mechanical shutters in the rollei lenses.

The CF39 works perfectly with the Rollei. It uses an adapter system to fit on it. I would either consider that one or a Sinar.

Hi Yodyium,

If you want to go the 6008 route, look out for a second-hand AFi 7 or AFi II 7 and an Afi Body. that way you can still use your Rollei lenses. The AFi II 7 offers internal rotation of the sensor, just like the recently released Aptus II 10R (universal mount) and a tilt touch-screen which works really well with the WLF

Graham, what is the difference between 75LV and 75?

The later models are all LV, which stands for "live view". However all digital backs must be tethered to use live view (afaik).
