Sets of drobo drives
« on: May 19, 2010, 09:29:54 am »

Can anyone tell me if you can fill a drobo remove the drive set load up more drives and then reload the original set of drives and access the data. I'm sure the answer is out there but for some reason (lazy probably) I can't see it.

Yes, as long as you keep the drives in the same order and make the swaps with DROBO powered off.  You can move drives to a new, larger DROBO in the same fashion and the new unit will read them.
