slideshow problem
« on: May 17, 2010, 04:32:46 pm »

I save many images as jpegs at the same size as my desktop which is 2560 across (of course)when I look at a slide show the image quality is degraded from what I can see in either library or the develope modual. Im confused as to why ,when image quality should be at tits best its degraded with less detail(id say about 20%) less like a big compression thingie, how ever in the other modes the very same image is sharp and clear. all images have had standard and 1.1 rendered previews actioned.
I have just upgraded to win7 and only just noticed this problem last week, ive tried down sizing the image more in line with the actual size I see on screen all to no avail.
any ideas guys please.

Ive seen the light and it is indeed very good

Fixed it seems to be the border stroke stuffing things up in slideshow, remove the border and images sharpen back up again, whythis happens ...I dont really know.
