Put simply, why would I pay that much for a 501CM kit (assuming its in EX condition) when I could get a 503CW kit for less from a reputable site (keh.com)?

You honestly (and I am sure its not a pleasant hing to hear) need to change your expectations of what you would get for this camera.

I am not the seller either, but I would also be interested in the link to the 503 CW mentioned by the earlier poster. I looked at KEH and I couldn't find it. Does it exist?

I clicked on the link for photos of the item listed and it's not a 501C/M but a SWC/M with the 38mm lens!

I have removed the 501CM.
