Hi folks -
I'm now starting my second full day photographing this volcano. Activity has calmed down a bit over the last week, but there are still some good photographs to be had (click for larger images):

No lightning so far, but I'm hopeful. Wind is very strong in the area, making long exposures difficult - and it's long exposures that let you see the lava (not really visible in the daytime, unless you're flying directly overhead).

Cheers,
Peter

Fascinating images, Peter. Look forward to seeing more.  Good hunting, but be careful!
