Hi,

It's my first (official) time on this forum, I logged in today I mean, I know this site for quite a while it help me many times just reading the questions and answers of others.

Today, because I thinking of buying it, I would like your views on the Artiscan 1800f Microtek scanner. It has a high cost but on paper looks really good, high dmax, various scanning sizes up to 8*10. Everything about it is quite impressive. My question is am I missing something. Is there something about this scanner that I must know? It's a pretty new scanner it's true. Perhaps someone can add a useful comment.

Thanks in advance!
George! ???
