http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6057...ouble_Case.html

has anyone used these?  i am looking for cases for my heads, and they are very cheap compared with the tenbas.

can they fit pro-7  heads without their dishes? is there enough room to be able to hold the head cords?

how much padding do they have?

thanks heaps, paul

That case looks similar to the Profoto Transport Bag.  I have three of the Transport Bags for my AcuteB's.  The bag has a minimal amount of padding - it's fine for local work but is not airline checkable or shippable.

It has a bit more padding and shape than a Lightware Soft Side case.

thanks jon. i wonder if this case would be better suited for two pro heads? is there a diver in the center, or is it off center?

cheers paul

There are two dividers (each is about 2/3 of the internal height of the bag).  There is velcro along the inside length of the bag so dividers can be placed anywhere in the bag.  There is also one cinch type satchel w/a drawstring that can take one AcuteB head.

The bag was designed to fit 1 AcuteB 600, 1 AcuteB head, 1 extra battery, and 1 disc reflector.  There is also a pocket on the reverse side of the lid which takes the AcuteB power plug.

Two D4 heads fit in this bag standing vertically but they push up the top of the case a bit.  They would absorb the brunt of any hit directly.  I think the Pro-7 head is even bigger so it's probably not a good fit for the Transport Bag.

I fly with 5 D1's in this.  It's deeper than I need, but then I just added extra foam in the bottom (so extra protection there).

I think what I'm going to do, though, is get three more heads and have Versaflex build me two cases that hold 4 a piece.
