SOLD On Ebay :
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...=STRK:MESELX:ITI really would like to trade for a 5D II. My 1dsMkII is boxed & ready to go.Canon EOS 1ds Mark II for sale with a total Shutter count of 86,151 as of the day I sent it in for repair on Friday March 5th, 2010. Only 500 clicks since repair to verify accuracy, confidence & quality. If times wern't tough I would keep this camera, but the wife does not like to carry a 1d camera of any type : ))
I just purchased a 1d Mark IV to replace it with. The shutter or mirror was hanging once in a while & then failed completely with "err 99".
I have had this in repair several times before for the same issue & they replaced the mainboard last & the shutter twice before.
I will put the same 90 day warranty on this camera that Canon gives me.
This camera is in excellent shape & never abused & only shows slight use. Never dropped, never wet or overheated. All LCDs clean as new & are scratch free.
Comes with 2 perfect Canon batteries & one new generic battery. Charger is like new & so is the original manual, software & all other accessories with box. Original strap included. Also a Kirk PZ-59 quick release plate.
This camera is special for the fact that it was owned by Craig Blacklock & produced some of the images in his most recent book "
Minnesota's Northshore" that came out in 2009. This 1dsMkII was his first digital camera & prior to this primarily used 4x5 view cams. He replaced this 1dsMkII with a 1dsMkIII.
Conn US Only, unless Western Union & good communication!! I had a very nice transaction from Chili 4 months ago : )

Camera is back from Canon. It works great & I have never seen the sensor this clean coming back from Canon. The letter included with the camera states what was replaced (Mirror Box, & Shutter Assemby). It also states there isn't a warranty, but customer relations is putting a non-transferable warranty on it for 90 days. So as long as I setup the repair, it is covered.
[marker]New Pics can be found here:
1dsMkII[/marker] Last 4 pics in the link above are from the 1dsMkII. The stop sign test pick is from my 100-400 at 400mm, F5.6 & ISO 800 absolutely no adjustments were made. The last picture is a 200% crop of the stop sign. I can email the RAW if your interested.
