Because my own AFD/III is in repair I'm now shooting with a DF camera but there is no manual.
The AF is on the 3 sensors as it seems and it's highly inaccurate for what I do, sometimes focusses on the nose sometimes on the wrong eye.

Can someone please tell me which Custom functions has to be set to let the focus be center only ?

The menu is unreadable if you don't know what your looking for.

hold down the button with the matrix symbol on it - its next to the illumination light button.
press that for 3 secs then you can rotate the thumbwheel to choose all/left/center/right focus area selection.
