Thanks Canon

I just picked up a second 5DII body this afternoon which was already preloaded with the new firmware giving me 24fps and 25fps which in itself is great for some of the video work that I'm now doing commercially. But the real surprise was after I downloaded the latest version of the Canon Utility software that it now has a Live View overlay feature just like when using Phase One software and a medium format back. For some one who shoots a lot of still life this is a real time saver.

Link to Utility update.

Thanks again.

am I missing something or does it not work with layers in gifs or psds, so having transparency is only global by its slider, not partial, like having a text flag  or a full layout put over it an then only show the appropriate window. and there seems to be nor resuzing option.

 only halfway there....
