OK,
It's all from memory, but I think the ISO was 1600, aperture f/2.8 and exposure around 15sec?? Per frame. It was about a 90deg pan on the moco over 10 hours. Lens was 14mm on a Canon 40d.
That sequence also includes very strong zodical light at the end of the sequence. Apart from the settings, what's crucial is the Southern hemisphere location in one of the darkest spots on the planet - I am not an expert here though, just what I've been told.
