There was another thread about this location a while back. There were quite a few responses, so search for it.
I'd say that just one day is very short for this area. I spent several days and that was way too little.
There's no problem being there alone. You can get anywhere you want without needing to resort to technical climbing moves.
The shooting is great everywhere and I wouldn't limit myself to what anyone suggests. Just check it out. It'll blow ya away!!
Early morning and late afternoon are the best times, like just about anywhere else, but there's enough interesting rock formations you can shoot fairly close so that you can get interesting things any time of the day.
You'll love it, but you won't get even a good overview in just a day. It's not all the same and there's lots of territory.
