Topic: What software for Sinar Emotion22 and Windows PC??? (Read 2814 times)

Hi all. I have always been using a Mac with Brumbear tools to convert my Sinar files to DNG. But now i wli only have a PC to convert the sinar raw files from my E22. Who knows were to find the correct software to convert my E22 files.

Is there someone who has the Windows version for download, as it seems to be out there....

I don't think there is anything. Keep your Mac. And why not use eXposure to do the conversion?

The 6.xx version should work. I have to use PC. There must be a solution.

There's a beta version you can get from Sinar or the distributor, but don't hold your breath for a full version. People have been asking for PC software for years.

It's not available for download on the website. You'll have to ask Sinar or the distributor in your country, or maybe Edwin Blenkinsopp (edwinb on this forum) at image2output.com

Sinar doesn't know what they lost when they let Thierry go.

I don't know what to think of Sinar. I really liked the concept and images from my Emotion but i think a company that can't provide answers to people asking for such a simple thing as software is not viable to survive in these times. Although many people say Phocus is not that great as camera software, to me as a user of a Phase one P20+ and a Hasselblad H3d, Phocus is far superior to P1 software. And if they worked close with the guys from Lightzone they would have had the best software ever made.... but hey, it is Hasselblad and they move in mysterious ways....

I instaled second OS - hakintosh... uploding files and then postproces in win.

you should contact your regional distributor for any beta software- if available you will have to sign a beta test agreement first.
for those looking for real platform independence I think Sinar were innovative in the eSprit 65 LV which has native dng format.
