Lovely texture and tonal quality.  Quite painterly.  I've spent a lot of time in pine forests, and many are not terribly photogenic at close range.  You did a good job with this one.

Hey All,

Really nice! I really like how you process an image - I've been looking at your zenfolio - you take the ordinary and make it look extraordinary.

There are less than a handful of photographers (other than notable Masters) whose work I keep coming back to - your photos are now among those an I'm still not at a handful - I'm at 3.

Very sweet. Even without the deer, it's a nice image. The effect on the trees give them a very luminous look…
