National Parks, exhibit and lecture, National Heritage Museum
« on: February 28, 2010, 09:23:56 pm »

“Treasured Lands”, my series of 58 large format images of the National Parks (one for each park), is now on exhibit at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA, less than half an hour away from Boston. The exhibition opened on Feb 20 and will run through Oct 17, 2010.

I will deliver a Lowell Lecture about the project at the Museum in exactly two weeks, on Sunday March 14 at 2pm. I will talk about my 15-year project to photograph each of the National Parks in large format, and some of the adventures involved. There will be also a Gallery walk (given by museum staff, not me) on Sunday March 21 at 2pm.

If you cannot attend, you can always check on the web my large format images of the National Parks from which the exhibition is drawn.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to do my best to carve out some time to see this exhibition.

His images are all over The National Parks book by the same gentlemen.  (Including the cover.  And there is his picture in the back of the book.)  Very nice work.

I would also like to say best of luck with the show.

It seems that I cannot attend your lecture so I'd rather see your large format images of the National Parks from which the exhibition is drawn. They are all great photos. You mean, you are going to have a lecture about those photos? Well, good luck!

The exhibit is up for another month. Believe me, the prints are stunning, and much better than what you can get from the web.

So anyone who is within a few hundred miles of Lexington, MA, should hurry over to see it before October 17.

Great job   I found your site many years ago and have greatly appreciated your photography (and of course the great effort to get it).

Congratulations on accomplishing 58 National Parks
