The Hasselblad Owners club is up and running...

http://www.hasselblad.com/hasselblad-owners-club.aspx

Could be useful  Hasselblad can promote it to clients as a directory of sorts..

Pretty sure it's open to anyone shooting Hasselblad (platform not just system) ie I  a guy with a Phase back on a Hasselblad body can join.

I would have thought that they would have tried to do something with it - like indexing or cross-referencing.

As I expected, most of the pictures are people-pictures, but Hans has some nice landscapes.

It would be nice to be able to filter the database to view portfolios or pictures taken with hasselblad backs on view cameras.

It does seem extraordinary that Hasselblad assume that all their (potential) customers are thinking of upgrading from 35mm, and in a long list of lens manufacturers Schneider is not mentioned... and, in a long list of camera manufacturers Sinar is not mentioned!

...and in a long list of net sites, LL is not mentioned.

Phase seem to realize that photographers are upgrading from LF to medium format digital, so why not Hasselblad?

Do Hasselblad know the market?

After multiple attempts to register, answering all questions, all I get is an e-mail stating:

Same for me.  Perhaps a glitch in the system.

Apparently it's open to anyone who has registered any Hasselblad or Imacon product with Hasselblad.  My Leica DMR, made for Leica by Imacon, qualifies.
