Monitor buying advice

Using a Mac Pro Quad 2.66 or 2.96 and a GT-120. Suggestions for a new wide gamut monitor, such as NEC PA 241W-BK or LaCie 324. Or, any other likely candidates in that price range. Spectravision II would be a plus for ease of calibration. Is the GT-120 able to deal with these monitors?
