Edmund,

Would you start a thread about HOW you're using this Dragon Stop Motion, please?

Billy

I found it here: http://www.dragonstopmotion.com/

Looked at the tutorial video, downloaded the trial, hooked up my underused 5DII (no way I will burn out the shutter on the D3x), software told me how to set up the camera. Decided I liked it, bought an activation code dug out a tripod, ten minutes later I had a short stop motion film.

And I started to realize that this is the best LiveView tethering software I have ever seen.

Thanks, Edmund.

Interesting that Dragon Stop Motion has camera control of shutter speed and aperture
whereas Phase One's Capture One doesn't.

Is LiveView realtime (no lag) on your computer display?

Do you get live view in Dragon with the D3X?

I used it extensively for some television vignettes together with some animators, and the 5DmkII had no issues, but the D3X would not deliver live view to the software...

The software is excellent by the way, very stable and has a nice feature set.
