This is more a qwest broadband question.

Does anyone else have random disconnects after they've done a number of biggish online backups in a row?  I'm beginning to notice a pattern here.  If I have a series of relatively small backups I do not have any issues.  But if I have a few biggish backups in a row I suddenly suffer a lot of disconnects.  The modem will just drop its connection.  All the numbers on its status page look good.  It just isn't connected.  I have to reboot my modem to get back online.

I haven't taken exact notes but I have no recollection of this occurring at any time other than after pushing a lot of data upstream.  And generally only after I've done so a couple days in a row....

I don't think I have a cap....

Some not-so-good modems may experience problems after having to transfer lots of information; I had one which did pretty much what you described, and had to change it.
