Exporting JPG gives Color Mode = B&W (not RGB)
« on: February 10, 2010, 08:32:17 am »

When I export black & white images to JPG files from Lightroom 2.4, they are coming out with Color Mode = B&W instead of RGB. Then, the thumbnails do not show up in Bridge CS4. Actually, when first opening a folder in Bridge, the black & white thumbnails do show briefly then they all disappear and are replaced by the blank white page icon.

When I select one of these in Bridge, I see this Color Mode setting in the metadata panel. Directly under it is the color profile, which is sRGB. If the image has any kind of split toning, then the color mode comes out as RGB and it shows in Bridge.

Any ideas?
