Has Apple said that they will be enabling more video support in Aperture 3 in the future? Right now you can only trim clips, not color adjust or tonal adjust.


I have not heard any comment from Apple regarding this, but then they don't tend to talk about upcoming features. It wouldn't be hard for them to add additional functionality by taking code from their video editing apps. Perhaps in the 3.X upgrades we'll see a few more video tools. If people ask for them they will come. I don't think Apple would worry too much about cannibalizing their video apps as this isn't where they make their money.

One of the neat features under Metadata is the ability to look at what focus point you had selected in your camera when you took a particular photo.  A screen shot of this on a photo that I took last week in New Orleans is attached.
