This would be a great kit for a young photography student or a student employing photography in a science fair project. My daughter used it with a powerful strobe to duplicate the classic physics experiment of capturing multiple images of a falling golf ball against a grid and then deriving the universal gravitational constant from the acceleration as measured by the decreasing distances between images. (She won 1st place in the south Texas regional science fair!)
With the included timer, a tripod (not included), and an AC power supply (not included), time lapse photography of bean seeds sprouting, etc. could be accomplished.
