Mountains under ice?
« on: February 01, 2010, 05:10:31 pm »

This is another in the studies of the local rivers and streams under ice...I'm loving the vistas that are appearing...haven't touched any of the monochromes yet because I'm having a pleasurable time sorting these...the critique forum has taken a nice turn toward winter shooting...it's great to see people out expanding vision...winter does seem to demand a bit more from us to receive rewards, but it gives back big time in skills massage...or for me anyway...I probably shouldn't speak for others...Pat

The "blue sunrise" was interesting to shoot because the water flowing through the ice constantly changed its apparent form and light...Any input / thoughts appreciated...P
