Dagnab it all, I've got to get some new windows. I get frost on mine, but it never does anything as exciting as these images.

Nice work!

Nice work!  I doesn't often get cold enough here to create frosty panes.  I love frost patterns like this; they often remind me of alluvial fans.

Thanks all. These patterns are a bit rare. It has to get very cold, below 10 Fahrenheit it seems.

Fantastic work Dan!

First and 4th are my favs because of the cold colors.
They are unique, very abstract and beautiful to see.

I wonder how did you take them, any special technique?

Exceptionally nice!  Fractals at play.  A side by side series of these would look terrific on a wall somewhere.

I mostly used ambient light, I tried flash for a few, the difference was minor. I placed black and maroon mat board behind the frost for some of the shots to add color.

Three to four inches. The one from last year is less than an inch.

They don't get much better. Excellent work. The last is a bit different in that in has some light as part of the subject. IMO, the highlights are very strong and somewhat competes with the shapes. Not sure what can be done, perhaps increase contreast to better delineate the white ice arteries.

Fabulous, Dan.  Maybe even better than last year.  Congrats on your perseverance and your long-johns.
