Mike.

Here's the executive summary: everybody and everything has competition.

I want my 60 seconds back.

The 'executive summary' to me is that there is great competition in every field today; because of this, the individual or company who stands above the crowd, or distinguishes themselves in some way is the individual or company who will be successful.

And that only took 20 seconds!

To own the crowd you must become its middle.  -- the fortune cookie reading (less than 5 seconds)

Photographically speaking, I am in a perpetual competition... against myself. Could not care less about how my photographs compare to anyone's (mine are worse most of the time, by the way); but I know the day I feel I am not improving any more will be the day I quit photography.
