Some amazingly horrible pattern noise in the shadows.

40D.  I haven't seen much in the way of pattern noise with it before.  But I did shoot it at ISO 3200 under some horrific CFL lighting.

It was really tasty.  But the red assed beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys tasted better.

So I wonder what they put in that cupcake to get that effect!

Uh?  For us non American English speakers, what does that sentence mean?  I thought I was pretty good at American, but evidently not.

Ed

ps Not intended as a clever clogs (tr = smart ass) question... I actually want to know.

The National Football League's Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys played in a Divisional Playoff game yesterday.  The Vikings stomped the Cowboys like a narc at a biker rally.  Another way of putting that is that the Vikings won 34 to 3.  And it didn't feel that close.  As a Vikings fan I enjoyed that.

And Pietersen, driving loosely at Parnell, heralded an England collapse to an innings defeat to South Africa.  You know it makes sense.

I used to be a fan of the Vikings when I lived in Minnesota about a hundred years ago (purple people eaters era).

Congrats. They spanked the Cowboys soundly. The upcoming game with the Saints should be a barn burner.

Would it have helped if I had refered to cupcake as a Favre Cupcake?  I also had an Adrian Peterson cupcake of the same style.  It, too, was good.  They had to be 600 calories each, tho.

But that's all irrelevant, as We All Know that the real (American) Football season ended a coupla weeks ago when the Patriots were trounced by ... I forget, but it was some other unworthy team. Wait till next year!

Skol Vikings!  Brett Favre is the best thing to happen to the team in a long, long time.

This is some colonial version of Rugby you are talking about, is it not?

You've got that right!
As someone who has covered the Vikings since '75(my first season ended with the "Hail Mary" game against Dallas) I can only say that was one of the most satisfying games to shoot! I got all 4 TD's but the best shot(of mine)IMO was after Kennedy's sack of Romo. As Kennedy was triumpantly walking away after the play, just a few feet behind him, lay Romo, like a limp rag that had just been rung out for the umteenth time, head buried face down and still cradling the ball.
Great last name by the way
