problem with CF and aptus 22 when formated with a brand new macbook pro...

i had trouble with a 8 GB UDMA SANDISK EXTREME IV after having reformated it on my MAC book PRO and 10.6.2 and disk utility 10.5 ...
the aptus didn't want to start with the card inside !
so, i've used an old macbook 10.4.9 from a friend of mine... and it works...


reason ?

Read this article on our Tech Support Blog formating CF cards for Leaf digital backs in 10.6.

They did.

Also there have been other topics here with the same issues and answers from Leaf.

I didn't see it...

By the way, in the tips section of the leaf site, i can't download the pdf about long exposure... link is broken !

That's a shame, however it basically says to check the box that says "Clean Long Exposure" when you process your file.

We'll get those links fixed ASAP. The team has moved to a new premises over the weekend but should all be up and running again 1st thing tomorrow morning, thanks for the note.

The Help guide inside Leaf Capture is quite extensive and covers a lot of these tips and tricks; Go to Help>Leaf Capture Help and select Search, then type in "Long" and the first item that appears will describe how to utilise the Clean Long Exposures tool.
