Well, honestly she scares me too...  but the response from more than a few people is that she knows how to promote, and if she can't pull the company out of the fire nobody can.  Back around 1999 or so, they had that postage-stamp camera, I can't remember what it was called, but it was kind of fun in a strange way.  At the time, it was the only product they had running in the black- apparently it was a major fad hit in Japan, among teens and pre-teens.  Ironically, the Polaroid product managers had almost canned it at the outset because they thought it was frivolous and useless.  Maybe Gaga will have more of a clue, you'd hope so.

BUT.  This makes you wonder how much they're going to be looking at the pro market, if at all...  and how much they really should be.

Sorry for the link directly to my site, btw, couldn't figure how to embed the video here...

I'd pay $150 a box of 20 for Lady Gaga branded Type 55.  I'd pay a little more for Hello Kitty branded Type 55.

Polaroid could do far worse.  She's got an obvious flair for the visual, and a knack for (self) promotion.  Better her than the typical sociopathic hotshot manager that big corporations usually inflict on their new products.   Now comes the hard part, getting the pointy-haired company execs to actually listen to her suggestions.

Take a look at the video Bad Romance...or the making of bad Romance...I think she is really great...maybe the underlying themes are not so original...but what is these days?....

Look at the visuals in this video.  I think it is great. Go GaGa!

I like her for one reason, not having listened to her music, she is at the forefront in the fight for inclusiveness and equal justice for all.

My favorite part is that the only thing she could see durring the interview was the inside of her hat. This is CNBC? Thought it was Fox at first. Is there a store where these people all go to for their cloths and eyewear? Oh yeah, Wardrobe.

No scaryer than Mae West, Jane Mansfield, Cher, Madona, or Devine. Must be working, she's been making the talk show rounds and got her 15 minutes.

Polaroid....hmmmmmmm. Pro? 8X10 was many moons ago.

It's so tight in the forefront - full of celebs standing on each other's shoulders, adopting, coercing, beating their drum and otherwise making great personal publicity!
