MY predictions... not for the year, for the decade.
« on: January 07, 2010, 01:03:05 pm »

I got one word for ya, son.  HDSLR.

Wait.  Is that one word?

Seriously, the more work I see by photographers with cameras like the 5DM2 the more excited I get.  Take a look, I'd love to hear what y'all take is on it.  Most excited I've been since I discovered they made RGB pixels.

Ted, I enjoyed your article. However, I don't believe still photography is anywhere near dead. I know I won't quit shooting my landscapes because of a mere prediction. OTOH, sales of photographs at the galleries where I'm represented are in the toilet and perhaps you are correct in that we all should try to master this new technology in order to expand our skills and the saleability thereof. In November I shot my first wedding in ten years just to try and keep my head above water!
But, exciting times ahead, regardless.

Thanks John!  I didn't really mean dead...  certainly a tough way to make a living, what with all the trends lately though.  I still love my blurry pictures.
