FS: Nikon 10.5mm f2.8G ED AF FISHEYE LENS. MINT CONDITION w/ Front & Rear Lens Caps.  Asking $625.00
For NIKON DX Digital SLR camera only.

Note! DX lenses are NOT recommended for use with 35mm, "full-frame" FX digital SLR cameras, or APS SLR cameras. AF not supported by D40 and D60 cameras.
Asking $625.00

Neither question nor offer, merely a comment:
Last week I bought this lens used for my D700.  I shaved off the lens hood on Christmas Eve and now it works beautifully on my D700.  So while it may not be "recommended" for FX format cameras it can be used on them very nicely.  Because the lens was designed to give you 180 degrees diagonally on a DX sensor, you get over 200 degrees on FX.  This allows for full 360 degree panoramas with only 4 shots (mathematically three is enough but the stitching is much less easy).  Here is a link to my first panorama (reduced resolution) which I took minutes after shaving off the lens hood; this was taken hand-held (you can see my feet at the bottom and my red sweater) and without much planning or anything, just four quick shots 90 degrees apart:

Summary: This is a great lens for FX and if you can get it for a good price (I am sure Jeff will entertain a realistic offer) it is well worth the risk of shaving off the lens hood.
