Jeremy, what was your mission there? Were the photos just gravy? How did you help them? I always wanted to go help kids like that. Although they look well cared for and fairly happy.
It was organized by a group called Airline Ambassadors and was sponsored by my son's school. As my son said after ... most were very happy, but some were very sad. I've chosen to show smiles ... I could post some stuff that would make you cry ...
We brought supplies - food, clothing, medicine and other essentials and five 1st graders (including my son) down to deliver the aid and spend two days with the children. The school will be continuing the relationship and visiting on a regular basis.
While there, we also re-built their wooden playground because on the first day it looked like it was gonna fall over.
I was a donor, parent, mission volunteer and official mission photographer.
